Born and raised in South Africa, Grant moved to California in the mid-1990s with his wife and three young children to pursue the American dream.

With an early career rooted in pharmaceutical sales, Grant discovered his passion for the landscaping industry after joining a local landscaping firm. His strong work ethic and natural ability to connect with people helped him thrive, ultimately dedicating 15 years to the company before stepping into entrepreneurship.

In 2022, Grant and his son Nick Clack, founded C&M Landscape Inc., combining their shared vision for high-quality service, strong client relationships, and a people-first company culture. Grant holds a Qualified Applicators License (QAL), and his extensive knowledge of plant material, environmental care, and landscape management continues to set the standard for excellence within the company.

Known for his integrity, mentorship, and commitment to building strong, cohesive teams, Grant plays a vital role in guiding C&M’s growth and shaping the values that define the organization today.

As the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder of C&M Landscape, Inc., Nick Clack brings a dynamic blend of leadership, technical expertise, and forward-thinking vision to the company. A natural leader from a young age, Nick has always thrived when empowered to make thoughtful, impactful decisions that elevate both the customer experience and the quality of work delivered.

At just 32, driven by his passion for doing things the right way and a desire to build something meaningful, Nick joined forces with his father, Grant Clack, to start C&M Landscape, Inc. Together, they set out to create a company grounded in integrity, craftsmanship, and long-term value for their clients and communities.

Nick’s leadership style is rooted in respect, accountability, and genuine care for both clients and crew members. Because he consistently prioritizes people, quality, and clarity, Nick is a leader others trust, appreciate, and enjoy working with.

Beyond the business, Nick is a devoted husband and proud “girl dad” to two young daughters. His commitment to family and legacy is reflected in his work philosophy: to take landscaping back to its roots—cultivating healthy environments, honest practices, and sustainable landscapes that will thrive for generations to come.
